This is for the boys
On Saturday November 20th 2010, my good friend Harun Celebi was married at Le Jardin in Vaughn,ON. From the photos you will see that good times were had by all who attended. Harun is the second close friend of mine to make the jump into married life which now puts the pressure on me im sure to close my own deal. This was definitely a night to remember as I didn’t even need flash because Yazmeen Celebi lit the room up with her radiance.
Im not sure whether or not i am just a naive Canadian, or just a bit too careless but when I was in North Carolina my car was broken into while I was in Wal-Mart. Granted, it was nighttime but the parking lot was well lit and I was on a popular shopping area in Greensboro. This was a case of “Smash & Grab” as the thieves only stole my laptop bag and not my DSLR camera ( which you can see from the pic could’ve easily been grabbed in the back) or the iPad ( which for some reason I decided to put under the seat,Thank God!) Now, the contents of the bag were very personal as it contained not only my laptop but also my passport which I would need to board a plane to Canada the next day. After waiting for 3 hours for police to arrive I returned to our house in High Point to devise a plan to get home. Luckily, my uncle was able to pull a few strings and I flew into Buffalo where I crossed the boarder by land. From this experience I learned a few things:
1. When travelling abroad, it may be better to leave your passport in your hotel room for the duration of your stay to ensure it is not misplaced or stolen.
2. When travelling abroad, take all valuable items out of your vehicle before leaving it anywhere for a prolonged duration of time.
3. ALWAY’S BACK UP YOUR HOME COMPUTER.
In October, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the High Point Market in North Carolina. While there I spent most of my day’s in the American Leather showroom at Showplace. There were some incredible room vignettes there and I took a few shots of the one’s I liked.
